With more Friends “aging in place,” or remaining in their homes, they and the members of meetings that support them face significant challenges to answer the call to care for body, mind and spirit. Thinking about and planning for the aging process raises practical and spiritual questions which Philadelphia Yearly Meeting Care & Aging Coordinator George Schaefer will address at this morning workshop. George is a licensed social worker specializing in the area of aging and behavioral health. For twenty years, he was a licensed Assisted Living Administrator in Pennsylvania before becoming a staff person for PYM.
