Understanding the latest Climate Report
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issued a report in August in anticipation of the global climate meeting in November. Its significance cannot be exaggerated. There are many summaries of the IPCC report which spell out the urgency of action of climate. This set of Takeaways is from the Yale Climate Connections. Another is from the World Resources Institute. In this video Dave Borlace walks through the IPCC Sixth Climate Assessment Report, which is full of graphs and data and scientific speak. It gets a bit in the weeds at the end, but the graphics in the Just Have A Think video really helped me to understand what this report is trying to say in just 15 minutes.
