Concord Quarter is taking up the question of how to respond faithfully to the call from the PYM Annual Session regarding climate related action. At the October 24, 2021 Quarterly Meeting, we learned more about the PYM Sprint on Climate Change, the newly formed Climate Action Network, and discussed how to move forward as a Quarter.
The Quarter will have an initial meeting of the new Climate Action Working Group (CAWG) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 13 by Zoom. This working group is being created following the model of CQM’s highly successful Working Group on Aging Concerns. It arises out of the work of the PYM Climate Change Sprint and the programs at our quarterly meetings in October (thanks to Westtown MM) and last January (thanks to Goshen MM).
