Aging and Finances Workshop
On October 13, 2018, 15 people gathered at Goshen Friends Meeting House to hear a 3 person panel from Intervention Associates, an affiliate of Friends Life Care, talk about legal and financial issues of aging. We learned a lot about what documents are important to have in place and how the lack of them could affect our finances, as well as a bit about health care costs. Do you know the difference between a Health Care Power of Attorney and a Durable Power of Attorney? Does Medicare cover nursing home care?
